How the **** can Adkins have been tapped up? As his contract is coming to an end he’s at liberty to seek other opportunities.
The default position of blaming the Allams for everything is fine, but it's not necessarily always 100% accurate. Adkins was offered a new contract and turned it down, we now have an ambitious manager willing to accept a contract. McCann must be happy with the playing budget he has, and he quickly accepted the Allams offer. Adkins may well have a new job lined up, if not he may live to regret his decision.
