    Ok just done the predictor and you will be pleased to hear that on the last day of the season we are both safe, however it will be an interesting day if Wigan win (they play Villa on the last day) Villa are down, If Villa win Wigan are down but if they draw Stoke will have to get a point at Southampton to put Villa down on goal difference.

    After our game down there I'd go for Wigan too because of McManaman and Whelan.

    Have nothing against the Wigan fans and had no bad feelings about the team until then.

    Your welcome mate, just saying it as I see it. If either of us go down its not the same. Yes one set of fans get a week of sending the others up (I will be as guilty of that as many) however you then remember that there will be no games against each other and the banter is poor when we are in different divisions

    Just came across this from one of your regular posters, not one of our biggest fans so it's quite good really.

    The mags had a cracking season last year but over achieved massively.

    This year, expectations were massive and the team have under achieved.

    Somewhere in between is where they belong. They are in reality, an 8th to maybe 14th placed team. Much the same as us and a dozen other clubs.

    Pardew is not a good manager and has form for relegating teams all through his career.

    Next season is his 3rd full season. He rarely lasts longer than that. Newcastle will do well to peddle him before he relegates them next season imo.
