    Its a betting list Baz.

It is what it is and recognises the situation we're in. But someone could still come out of a blind side and fill the slot.

According to the press we're now in the beggars can't be choosers club. And that may well be the case.

But until Short show's his hand it's all just speculation.

Got to be an experienced for me so can only go along with who we get. We have taken on unproven managers in the past who did not meet their potential so that is KP out for me.

The bookies normally don't Get it wrong pal. It be some **** from that **** list.

I just hope it isn't some jock who's got the job because his Scottish and best mates with Bain. Can't stand jobs for the boys thing.

Then you have got no chance. Bain, Moyes and Walter Smith on the selection panel so get your kilt on now.

    Unless they choose Brendan Rodgers.

Well, early betting had Sam favourite to come back because of all the money thrown on him when he resigned from Palace. Fans putting 2 + 2 together and the bookies making him 2/1 favourite.

So early on, the bookies very probably had it wrong but time has moved on and I agree, 100%, the next guy will probably come from that list.

I don't care about their nationality, just their competence.

There are some listed there that scare the hell out of me.

But the whole ballpark has changed and for the life of me, I haven't got a bloody clue who'll we'll end up with.

My guess is, we'll mostly be disappointed but only because, deep down most of us still believe we're a PL club. But we're not.

On managers the bookies just go by where the money goes and they follow the media.

Iam not bothered what nationality they are but this **** we picking jock managers because they mates with them is a ****ing joke.

Sunderland is full of problems but we bigger than the names we getting link with. Thats just my opinion tho.

I don't know about the whole job for the boys bit Baz. You may be right about that, I don't know.

But I disagree about us being bigger than all of those managers being listed.

Not anymore we're not. I honestly believe we're potentially a club in freefall unless Short takes significant steps to halt the slide. And I haven't seen him take any steps just recently that suggests he recognises the significance of the problem.

Aye I agree about the short bit. The bloke needs to man up and sort the club out. Doubt he do it to.

We not bigger than managers like Pearson, monk but we bigger than the Scottish **** we link with.

If we do end up with the Aberdeen manager than that is defo job for the boys. Iam sure Walter Smith wanted him for rangers to.

Have Clough and skp worked together? Do they even know each other?

I think it's really important to bring in a management team

Moyes accepted what was already there. O'Neil didn't bring Robertson

There's a lot of media chat about this and that manager being imminent and it's likely all bollocks. While I don't trust Short, Moyes and Walter Smith (wtf has he got to do with it?) I do think that Short will be very conscious of the importance of his next appointment and won't just hire any old twat who'll take the job.

I wonder if there's any reason we aren't considering Carvahal the Sheff Wed gaffer.

He's done a great job there, superb in fact. Haven't seen him in the odds anywhere.

Wouldn't mind Tuchel but no chance ha ha I'd take Heckingbottom or Monk, people say we need experience as we've done young and un-tested, to that I say Advocaat, O'Neill, Moyes etc...

Ian Holloway is about our level now I think.
At least he'd provide some amusement.
Or that false tanned ****er from South Shields.
I't about all Shorty will pay for.

Haven't heard a peep about it in the news, I wonder if we're interviewing people yet? The suspense is starting to get to me.
