Apologies for the lack of reply. I dart on and off this board during work breaks and do overlook things occasionally You said that Giggs had jumped to favourite. Then the club issued a statement saying that there had been no approach. Then I posted the above. My point was that the betting market was overlooking the Club's statement, and still fancied Giggs for the job
Why is your first act on the board this morning to try and antagonise me? You're not right in the head boyo.
boyo , have you turned welsh overnight ,you was very tarty with his post though ,as i said normal for norfolk ,im good thanks for asking ,how are you today
I feel he'll be announced on Monday morning. Now isn't the time to be taking a flier on the likes of Giggs imo. We need a tough manager with experience to sort the club out ....... Giggs would just attract the wrong kind of attention. This needs to be a steady and determined process, not a media frenzy.
Oneil and moyes who many thought would do this smug ,both were responsible for the most dire football ever, it would be refreshing to see some offensive play for a change , expectation instead of the usual gloom and doom all season would be a tonic whoever gets the job.
Whoever the new manager may he we should be insisting he lives in the area. He needs to commit to the club and so do the players ...... this isn't the time for half hearted slackers.
I'm expecting McInnes to be appointed too, it seems we want him and he's said before that building a team for peanuts doesn't bother him. Doubt he'd be very expensive himself which will appeal to Short.
Was speaking to an Aberdeen fan last night who I know well. He's convinced the noises coming out of Aberdeen are saying the deal is done and he's gutted!! He thinks McInnes is brilliant and not to read anything into his time at Bristol City where he was messed about by the owners!!! Bart.
I've had a bit of a read up on McInnes and everything that I've found sounds positive. Based on that, I'd be happier with him than any of the other names that have been suggested.
This always happens and I'm not saying it's a bad thing. When we have clear heads we absolutely must go for better than McInnes, once we have to accept he's coming then all of a sudden hes the man for the job. He's achieved absolutely **** all and failed in the Championship. People on here who watched the final against Celtic accepted that he made strange substitutions and will be out of his depth down here. When I think of the Scottish people at our club now and how they've basically identified one of their own for the job then it really doesnt fill me with confidence and I personally think it is a disaster waiting to happen.
