Seems to me that our players are non-believers that this system works. Bring in another disciple of it and we are relegated for certain.

Hey, the Dutch are notoriously straight talkers. There'll be less Americanisms for everyone to get annoyed at. Maybe in a Dutch accent some fans might accept him saying facts in the presser.

Hopefully if it is him, he might be able to lift the lads, inspire a bit of confidence, get the goals flowing, drop Struijk and ultimately win a few games. He certainly knew how to get the best out of Sinisterra when they were together.

Whilst not a fan of Marsche's tactics it's only fair to say he wasn't a million miles away from getting it to work. Competitive in every match, with good performances against most of the top teams but unfortunately not able to win against our bread & butter opposition.

If someone else comes in with similar but an ultimately more refined and successful formula then so be it.

He's no one trick pony, neither. He dominated the swiss league playing 4-4-2 and had Leverkusen playing with a 4-2-3-1. If you seen his Leverkusen side they were so direct in possession. You'd expect his wingers to be used a lot in the 4-4-2 which they were but he used the exact same tactics in Germany. Every time they turned over possession the ball was played out wide and the wideman would attack the box with pace. The teams he managed scored **** loads of goals. He draws other teams in playing a narrow game which gives his wingers the opportunity and space to go at teams when they're in possession. He'd be a risk, he's got no experience in English football and he's never experienced a relegation battle. Huge potential, though. I'd give him a go.

yes if he could refine the bit where the players kick the ball in the net and fine tune the defenders so they don’t pass to the opposition at key moments he’ll be just tickety boo

I’d say 2 wins in 17 games and a win ratio of 25% overall was a ****ing million miles from it working, but hey more of the same with a squad that doesn’t believe in system should work just fine this time round if we keep persevering. Might even work in the championship or league one if we keep at it <ok>

That’s because you have no skin in the game, matters nothing to you whatsoever whether it works or not.

Of course it doesn't. I don't support Leeds.

If my club were in the same position, I'd want us to give him a go,

I’ve been thinking over our last few games where the opinion is, we have started to look better and I have to question have we really.

We can’t count cup games against inferior opposition so looking at the league games, Adams and Gnonto have popped up everywhere. Take those two out of the equation and is anyone else in the team even a 7/10

I think those two have carried us somewhat

Remember the chant when we signed him:

"We've got Carlton Palmer, he smokes marijuana,
    Nah, nah, nah
    Nah, nah nah
    ...."

He was nearly sacked after two years but managed an FA cup win that saved him, the game was completely different back then, a more level playing field, he wasn’t walking it with Celtic or Rangers, Scottish football itself was better in the early 80s. You’re singling out a manager who went to the English top tier nearly 40 years ago

Besides all that, the fans would not accept Harry Kewell back, want to be our coach but you can’t bring your assistant, that’s not a good start

Yeah Smithy at the YEP picked up on it too and asking why. Seems Maric has the same foot in mouth problem as his boss
