I reckon we timed our CoC to perfection as I think there's a real chance the next one won't be as big. It's every four years granted, but we got it fairly new (don't remember Derry getting much coverage at all) and it's possible we've used up a lot of its oxygen.

Plus, who knows what state the country will be in economically in two years, let alone four - so a lot of the potential projects may well suffer.

Which was the one without a supermarket at Highfield Road? Surprised the other 3 all had supermarkets.

Yes, some pleasant places have been spoilt by the arrival down the years of rough elements from big cities whose offspring inherit their uncivilised ways.<laugh>

Fair play to his parents. Many would not have done what they did.

I really thought it would go out of England and thought it would be Swansea or Paisley.

    Some glum bastards on there.

Still for a city that has given us Richard Keys and Hazell O'Connor what did you expect?

Coventry City (recent SISU issues apart) must be one of the least interesting football clubs in the land.

They got bombed to ****, and we have Chillo and Larko in common, but still impossible to feel any sort of affinity for the place.

Sunderland and Stoke needed it more, Swansea had better credentials so giving it to Coventry seems a bit strange.

Their gushing bid lass was on the news last night parping on about diversity and youth. Yawn. That script's a bit stale now.

Btw, wasn't Vince Hill from there?
