I wasn't spouting bile, I asked a simple question, no need for the abuse Walter.

That really looks poor. I'm surprised BR took Suso considering he let Sterling stay.

    Simples.

Suso hasn't played 90 minutes in the league yet, he'll be pretty sharp.

He has started most games though, if he gets injured the who comes in? incredibly out of form under performing players like Downing or Cole or untested youth in someone like Assaidi?

It'll be interesting to see how the lads get on, but I fear the worst on this one.
We're in a decent position in the group so I expect we're hoping the remaining fixtures will get us through regardless of the result tomorrow.

    Think BR has TOTALLY
made the right decision with the lads he has left in the UK
    --------------------------Jones------------------------
    --Wisdom---Carragher------Coates----Robbo---
    -----------------------Henderson---------------------
    ----------------Shelvey----------Pacheco----------------
    -------Downing------------------------Assaidi--------
    ---------------------Morgan--------------------------------

Think Morgan n Pacheco deserve another outing in the 1st 11, in there own position too

Agree. With Chelsea on sunday being a more important game in the big picture it's a sensible squad
to take.It will be good experience for one or two and if we get beat it's not the end of the world.

  13. Although i agree, didn't we play Everton after the last game again Anzhi...? Obviously, it didn't involved travelling miles upon miles though <ok>

Yeah,it's a long way out there.Better to send a strong squad to Italy for the last group fixture
    if need be.

  15. Yeah, I reckon we would have planned to sacrifice this fixture before any of the games were played unless we absolutely needed a result <ok>

Yes,BR probably would not say as much but it makes sense to do it.

  17. I reckon the trip to Italy would have been seen similarly until we ****ed up at home against Udinese <laugh>

Udinese home to young boys and us away at degestan fc, both away teams likely to lose. That would put them both top with 7 points each and us on 6. We can then beat young boys at home and send a strong team to italy to hopefully do the job.

  19. In that scenario, we could do with Anzhi beating Udinese so we have the draw <ok>

We looked a little jaded when Everton made it physical though... Against Chelsea we will need to be mentally sharp and physically. Oscar and Hazard are going to give us a headache unless we starve them of the ball. Oscar has just scored a great goal against a team that has kept the ball very well.

But on Anzhi... They aren't brilliant. They have an average PL centre back (Samba), a decent left back (Zhirkov) and two or three good attackers. We've played better this season and we'll play better in the EL if we go through.
