I'm no expert by any means. But from everyone's comments in the last months, it is clear we will need a stronger squad to stay up next year. So! Who is available and who do we need? Presumably, those coming down will have some to off-load that might be good for us but I guess we shall have to be careful in our purchases. Who have we already got who will make a contribution? I'm sure NW is a canny bloke who can be relied upon to have a strong team.....but is he good enough to keep us up. Some time ago it was suggested he would be good as a Director of Football with a new manager underneath him...but who?
It’s possible that Warnock could be axed if we have a poor start, which is indeed likely! I would hate to see it, but it is most unlikely that he would survive with our funding! Hope he proves me wrong!
Time for the team to enjoy the moment, have a few weeks in the sun. We can worry about new players then.
Don't see it Masky. I honestly think NW is the only guy who can keep the squad up. It is a team that plays his way and anyone he buys will also play his way. Make no mistake about it, if we stay up it will be because NW keeps us up. I think we will be the old Stoke next season
