Age: Sorry what was the question? Height. Was 6' but seem to be shinking with age ( in other areas too, unfortunately) Waist. 34 Hair. Ah memories! Is that the fluffy stuff on the top of your bonce? Hair colour. Was brown. Facial hair. Yes, trimmed full set, no poncy goatee's and such, I look like I've got my head on upside down. Shoe size. 11 Left/right footed. Was right footed but every one else insisted that I was 2 left footed. Position. Left or right back but mostly as a keeper, a good shot stopper apparently but when it came to crosses, same as Dracular. Skill level. I talk a good game but I was from the school of, if it moves kick it, if it dosen't just kick it anyway. Injuries. Finished playing as a 22 year old in 1980 when I wrecked my right knee, in a full blooded ligitimate tackle. Practically no cartilage left and ligaments like worn out old knicker elastic. Who needs a barometer when you've an arthritic knee. Also a bad back, all that bending down to pick the ball out of the back of the net. I once saved 3 penalties in one game, still lost 7 nil though!
Well I've just finished reading all the posts from the last 24 hours and I feel ashamed to have not revealed my real age as others have done (Ensil,Pat etc). So here's a clue 1962 was a very good year and a bloody cold winter according to my mum. Unfortunately I don't have battle scars to match Ensil or KK, but I have a scar on my top lip when I chased my older sister through the house and she decided to shut the living room door(plate glass) before I went through it I was 9. I do have a photo on my facebook page but of course no one here knows me so you won't be seeing it. But if anyone went to Barclay Junior School in Leyton in the early 70's you might let me know and we could clear the mystery.
