Got a season ticket for the North stand and attend all home league and cup games. Sadly since marriage and a screaming sh*t machine cannot afford away games.

As often as Cash permits. I've been to three so far this season. I'll be going to the quarterfinals I'll be getting to a league game early January for my birthday/christmas treat.

Would love to take smug up on his offer but there isn't the cash to commute or to pay for the ticket. If I have the cash when smug offers I'll be gratefully ripping his arm off as I think most would. Don't think he expected everyone on the board to plague him for tickets. He Just wanted a bit of respect on the thread.

Didn't even want that mate, I honestly don't give a shiney ****e what people think of me, on here or in real life.

What I didn't want was a mod taking the piss, a Mag poking his ****ing stupid nose in and Sunderland supporters disrespecting me.

If that's what this board is about then it's not worth my time to post is it?

I don't see why anyone would rather go to the pub than the game? You have all day to drink, and the couple hours when you could be at the game and you choose to spend your money in the pub? Your not a fan in my eyes.

Rarely, but whenever I can. 1 game last season.

Travel. Gets a bit expensive when you have to buy a return flight to go to a game. so I go to the game if it coincides with us visiting family (who are all over the country)

Nee bother marra ....... I just used your grammatical vagueness as the opportunity to have a pop at people.

I'm childish but at least I'm happy to say so :emoticon-0105-wink:

elcie009 said that they have a season ticket (so I presume go to home games), but go to the pub instead of going to away games. seems reasonable to me. pretty much what I would do if I was living in the area.

or did you start this thread with the aim to find someone to have a go at?

Had a season ticket since '95 aside from the 4 years i spent away at uni. I don't get to away games for many reasons; mostly work and money.

    1 or 2 games every 2-3 years!

I did used to get home once a year, but the bairn makes it more difficult and more expensive.

Although talking with the wife yesterday and she is up for a move back home !!! So next year could be alot more regular.

We've had many great years in the south of France but talking about moving back next year ..... a big part of that is being able to see more games.

Oh yeah, and we have 5 sons and 2 grandsons as well <laugh>

My trouble with moving back is i don't know what i would do! I'm basically a Looky Looky man over here! not much demand for them in the bridges i reckon.

Last time i tried to come back it lasted less then a year, i couldn't hack working in a call center

All my lads are adults and doing well.

It's much easier to make money here but there's more to life than that. I can't exactly provide bodyguards in Mansfield, like I do here, but I've always had faith in my ability to make money.

Not easy though mate, once you've had a taste of 'the good life' it's hard to go back to normality.
