get the same callers who call into LFCtv all the time as well, tried myself but didn't call me back, i may have been a bit pissed at the time lol, wonder if i spoke to Faircloughs daughter, did sound like her.
Here fishy fishy - you need to reread your post then the comment, clearly it was too subtle And i was only joking but the speech marks show you are clearly irked. For that i apologise. On this we just disagree you wont convince me and vice versa but its not the end of the universe, so chill And Merry Christmas - lets hope we are both in the top four come May
IMO only ONE factor determines the title: City's away form. If Pellegrini sorts it out in time, then end of speculation.
If we're top at Christmas we're 100% tittle contenders. I believe the last 7 teams in 9 seasons that have been top at Christmas have gone on to win the PL (i might be wrong, but I'm sure I read it somewhere). So if we're top at Christmas then how on earth can't we be title contenders? Add to that we always perform better after January and are strong finishers - Jan transfer window coming up, club on a high about Suarez, and with Sturridge, Gerrard, Enrique etc to come back - we could be SERIOUS contenders. Yeah I'm being optimistic, but there is a certain amount of realism in there to.
That's true and false Our home form is pretty electric too, so you could say the same about us - also our away form isn't too shabby.
That's is my point. Our away form is not bad. City's away form is just plain awful. But they are by a long distance the best team in the prem ( at home anyway and barca are already quivering with fear)
True, but our home form isn't much worse than City's at all. Maybe performance wise, but points on the board they're only slightly better. Plus I believe our home form will also improve (Fortress Anfield)
I think we seem to be thinking ourselves that we cannot go to city and get anything. we need to forget that and get something and we need other sides to think that going to anfield is a hiding to nothing. we need to have two attitudes. first at home = our points and e'll murder anyone touching them. then away we can take on anyone anywhere.
If we're still within 6 points of the leaders by the end of January, we will be in contention. If we are in that position, will we see Stevie G roll back the years in pursuit of his dream? I'd say so. EDIT: Sky, that is correct - the two teams were Arsenal... An ourselves!
Hopefully you are right. The pessimist (realist?) in me says that we need to stay in the top 2-3 at least. The likes of United and city have the experience to come from well behind. None of our players have had the experience. I'd feel happier if we were top or within a point at that stage...
If your going to use previous seasons as a gauge then I'll throw in the no team as finish outside the top three and won the title the next season, most finish second first.
We are in it. City is wobbling. Arsenal are the same old Arsenal. Chelsea are little horses. Our squad will be added depth with recovered players and we don't have Europe to divert focus and energy.
