Definitely a good striker, not a winger by any stretch. Wenger ruined him by playing him out wide. He'll score goals for you .. no doubt about it .. if played as a centre forward .. not dropping deep all the time.

With very few games he's done good for us when called upon, so with constant game time he can be a great player, he's got the height, heading ability, size, strength aswell as some great skills and finishing (at times)

Reports on ESPN this morn are that he has said he isn't coming back to us. A year can be a long time though but he's definitely miffed at not being given enough time on the pitch. He actually feels he should be leading the attack but I'm not so sure that he is in the same class as RVP. Still, you never know what may transpire if he gets the chance to show what he can do.
