Think ive quite comfortably out argued you on this one Cracker Im talking about apples and your talking about oranges, your not looking at the points i make. Im still waiting for you to answer my origional question, you are trying to get away from the origional point , ive given you a perfect example and you have given me none, so the ball is in your court fella
Sorry , not out 3 years . Should have thrown in " must be picking his nose " at the time of injury & come back after 3 years , then you could ensure none could be found Lol !!
My whole point is it's all apples & oranges , it's about the only thing proven here I'm afraid . Half the examples you gave weren't even acl problems & none were out 3 years , talk about apples & oranges
Im still waiting Breeze... Think we have established that Ferrie is going to be against the odds, but i will be rooting for the guy, and i know we can at least agree on that
Well thats Half more examples than you gave which is none by the way!! Its not strictly about ACL injuries its about recovering and returning to the same level after long term injury, in fact i dont think i ever mentioned anything about the fact its an ACL in my origional posts(the ones from weeks ago) its about the fact he has not been playing for 3 yrs and the difficulty in returning to the same level after a long term lay off. You can keep going around in Circles if you wish breeze, but i asked you to give me an example of somebody who has been out injured long term/3yrs and who returned to play at the same level or higher and you cannot. your just making yourself look a bit daft now TBH Ive answered you question, you didnt answer mine I never asked for 10 examples or 20 i just asked for one !!
Prodan was a scam without a real medical , Casirighi had ten operations & never did come back .... ,,, apples & oranges ....
Whatever happened to "There's no right or wrong it's all about debate?" Guess that went out out the window with "I've out-argued you on this one" Is that a heavy whiff of hypocrisy in the air......wafting over from Northern climes? Far too easy.... And you're right Breezy, his names don't fit the criteria. Keep going.
It went into the atmosphere with Norway's Maytag spaceship .. Been a blast Norway but no winners on this one , just losers I'm afraid .
Must admit I'm finding it difficult to think of a player out as long as Bodde, who came back as fit as when he got injured, though now that I think of it didn't Michael Owen have a long injury absence? not sure but of the top of my head seem to remember him out for a few seasons, might be wrong though!.................
Yes out argued, out debated calln it what you like the fact remains that neither of you have come up with any answers Everybodies opinions matter, this was not opinion, i asked a direct question and was asked a direct question when breeze couldnt answer that question I gave an answer team knacker-crack did not Until you can come back with answers then im afraid you are both making yourselves look rather silly Must try harder you crazy kids
Have you lot finished! now what about Owen?? Come on let's be having you!..................... please log in to view this image
Nice try Phil , now try & find players that have been out 3 or more seasons that even attempted a come back , norways struggling to . The fact that Bodde came back the first time fairly early means it must have been not a hugely bad injury ... maybe a bad surgery or brought back a little early . There so much we don't know about the case . Norway's been going on about this " answer the question " for quite a while so thought I'd give him a chance to show all these players that been out for 3 or more seasons & actually tried to come back . Preferably ones that came back briefly after a year ... that should make it even harder Lol !!
The question was asked to you Breeze not the other way round! If you cant find anybody that has been out long term and returned to play at the same level or higher then im sure there arnt any, which means Ferrie Bodde has an extremely difficult road ahead, its why i was suprised and not suprised about his non appearence in the last reserve game. Dragon-owen was out 18 months "England the following season, joining Newcastle United for £16 million. After a promising start to the 2005–06 season, injuries largely ruled him out over the next 18 months. After his return he became team captain and was the team's top scorer for the 2007–08 season. After the final season of his four-year contract, Newcastle were relegated, and Owen moved to Manchester United as a free agent." Im not sure but i think he kept getting different muscle injuries or something, play a game out for 6 weeks etc, etc, but its a very good shout just the same, close but no Cigar
very common injury in AFL (Aussie Rules) and noone has comeback after a 3 year layoff and performed with distinction. most of these injuries are fixed within 6-9 mths and the players have resumed their careers. Cracker, there are sh*tloads of AFL players who have had a year out and made successful comebacks. dunno if it is the fact that is a common injury here and the doctors know how to treat and what rehab to do as opposed to over there?
