RTC claimed that the BTC was going to go against Rangers - yes.

I wouldn't call him a nutter - he seems to really know his stuff. He called the big decision wrong, though (and he misread the judgement which led me to mis-call it yesterday).

One of the judges called it that way too.

Claiming a victory in a tax appeal equates to validation of not cheating is ******ed, though (deliberately or otherwise).

    I believed him.

He was right on everything up until now and clearly knew the tax world.

One of the judges in yesterday's announcement agreed with him, also.

But, yeah, she's a "nutter", no doubt.

My favourite quote from the RTC blogger.

This blog has been accurate on all of the major points of the case except the one that matters most to date- the FTT outcome.

    <laugh>

    So much hard work.

    So much effort.

    So many months wasted.

It was a victory though bib, rangers won the case by majority verdict.

Besides I read on FF that the judge that disagreed is married to a bird called bernadette.

I read it online so it must be true, much like RTC.

RTC started as being objective and factual. The last 6 months or so, his/her/their standards slipped big time. I'll freely admit I've been amused by their tweets etc but they went from unbiased discussion and analysis to "sevco = cheats lolz". I remember someone posted an interview/article they did for the Guardian (I think) on the Celtic board some months ago and I thought and said at the time RTC came across as arrogant and self-satisfied. Now the blog had been deleted and they're looking a bit stupid. <laugh>

Its not a super secret its how ticketus structured there deal.

    Anyway on topic

Regarding rangers and the spl investigation, one thing to mention is that charles green is not going to defend the charges. The judge can only rule on the evidence in front of him so unless rangers put up a defence, it looks bleak.

If they pursue the case against Rangers and find us guilty, it will confirm the biggest swindle in Scottish football history.

Say what you want about Murray, but he's always adamant that there was no 'side letter's' regarding players contracts, and the EBT panel ruled that there was no "extra payments" made to players either, thus, there is no case to answer.

They've taken down the RTC blog? <laugh> <laugh>

Removing the evidence of their shame. "We got it right except for the important bit" - aye, being wrong ya ****in arsehole.

Largely, if not mainly, because of that blog we were accused of cheating for a decade by using a tax dodge to buy and pay players we could not otherwise afford - accused of having no sporting intergrity.

    Good ****in riddance to it.

Up next, the removal of Phil McGobbles book from the book shelves. He's another twat that looks a little silly now.

    http://rangerstaxcase.wordpress.com/

The tax case result released yesterday afternoon was obviously a surprise. After reading the findings, it is still difficult to understand how two of the three judges arrived at such a decision. The third dissenting judge’s opinion was clearly more in line with expectations. However, in the First Tier Tribunal it is a case of majority rule.

If an appeal is launched, it will take several more months before we get the next level of decision. Appeals are not automatically granted, but in this case- with a dissenting judge and where a dispute over legal interpretation exists already- it seems certain. At the Upper Tribunal, new evidence is not introduced and the case is not re-argued. The judges at the Upper Tribunal will hear legal arguments over whether the First Tier Tribunal judges made an error in interpreting the law and will rule accordingly.

This blog brought light to a matter of public interest. This blog has been accurate on all of the major points of the case except the one that matters most to date- the FTT outcome.

We thank everyone who has participated. Hopefully, we will see the result reversed on appeal.
