To be second in the league after 14 games?

I'm really looking forward to next weekend - I reckon we can get at LEAST a point v the Spuds.

They were a bit lucky today, thoughts?

Don't really know but it feels good to be 8 places and 8 points ahead of United after 15 games :emoticon-0148-yes:

it feels like we are 4 points off top. Top is where we want to be. I am looking forward to january and seeing a better class of player coming in. exciting times.

We are going to have to look at ourselves now and i have to wonder about going to spurs. The draw is the minimum we can deliver to try and stay up there. A win would be a great prechristmas gift when we have two top 4 clashes to come.

With suarez in form all i can say is we've a chance.

MITO, the cracks are starting to show! There you go writing highly critical comments about the team and the way they play - some deserved and others OTT. But there are just traces that underneath it all you're beginning to get a little excited. Go on! Let your Little Boy see the sun - just for a little while!<wizard>

Firstly I can't help but dread trips to the Lane as our recent record there is piss poor. Despite our respective league positions I fear what will happen if we turn up in "Hull" frame of mind.....but then I remind myself that we have Suarinho...two of the best attacking players in the league <diva>

must... have... discipline... must wait until we... are top...... then spunk myself...

my comment above said with suarez we've a chance.. if suarez got a hamstring this board would be in the depths of despair but i would not cos i've maintained my realism.

1 Arsenal 14 19 34
2 Liverpool 15 16 30

8 Souhton 15 5 23
9 Man Utd 15 3 22

nose bleed... nope I just wish we had 4 more points. thats the real challenge. I actually want Mr Henry to open the wallet and spend big in january. two players needed.. one in midfield to come in immediately, one to be the option striker.

this is a historic opportunity.

Or GD compared to tottenham is huge. they have only socred one a game, we've nearly doubled everton.. utd are nowhere. If we can just keep going we might be happy at the end. It's like i said. that bottom half are utter dross 11-20. if we keep hammering them at home and start winning v them away... 4th should be possible.

40 points from 19 games? we'll go close. we will i think have 35 from 19 for sure.

It feels like you've found £3, lost a fiver and then found another £2 <ok>

anything can happen fool.. you know that. even you beat utd. when was the last time???

spurs.. i'd give us a 30% chance of win, 30% of draw

cardiff at home... they just lost to palace.. we are at home. 80% chance of win
city away.. unlikely to get anything
Chelsea away, they just lost to stoke! i'd give us a 10% chance of a win and 20-30% chance of a draw.

so i think we can go from 30-35 without too much bother. 30-40 i siad we could go close. 37 is not impossible. 39 is unlikely, probably highly unlikely but anything is possible.

Give your head a wobble, you're playing 3 of the top 6 away & your away form has been pants.

The likelihood of getting more than a couple of points from those fixtures is slim

I know it has been but you've just siad "getting more than a couple of points from those fixtures is slim" 2 points plus 3 form home game = 5 which is the 35. one win and its 7 and thats getting close... SHOCK! <doh>

You might not have noticed it, but we are currently above all of them in the league.

So what? How does that affect the task or the fact that you've not been great away from home?

feels good, long way to go though nothing to celebrate yet.
