Tin hat on here - I think we are so defensively **** that it will send us down. Thats my head speaking mind but I hope that we can survive (again) and hopefully press on (again). Far too many false dawns with this wonderful club but alas i think this is the season that we sink - hopefully I am so ****ing wrong.
Cheers - we get married this Saturday. Hoping a win against Stoke will be one of our wedding presents. Though a defeat will not spoil our day (much). Bart
Most on here know I am an optimistic bloke when it comes to my football club - but I think we need 2 more wins and I just can;t see where they're going to come from! Really hope you're right thou Joe!
We have been down this road so many times before staring at the abyss. We are Sunderland.....it just comes with the territory. Looking at the odds for losing the next four games and winning the last two to stay up.....why.....we are Sunderland and this is how it just works out...lol. Keep the faith....we will be ok....
We're three points ahead of the drop zone, and that's a whole lot better position than last year. The problem as I see it is that QPR, Burnley, and even Leicester have found some fight just at the right time. They can probably catch that three points up because I can't honestly see where we're going to get any more. We only have two creative players who can make something special happen - Giaccherini (injured) and Alvarez (who Advocaat thinks is out for the season). Which gives the opposition teams an easy job - stop Johnson and you stop Sunderland. It's gonna be difficult I think.
