It would be nice to beat Reading, but we have about as much chance of staying up as I have waking up next to Kelly Brook in the morning!
Hate to poop on your party but it requires both to go into meltdown and not pick up any points and that can't happen. They play each other last game of the season.
You need to look at the table again. If, If, if, If.... Wigan still need 6 points. On the other hand don't bother, party doesn't describe what there will be if that miracle happened!
We talked about this on a recent thread Oslo, and if (if if !!) Villa lose their remaining 4 games (we lost 4 of the last 5) and Wigan lose the next 4 but beat Villa in their final game, all ( all, all!!) we have to do is win three and draw one of our last 4 games. Highly unlikely yes, but not beyond the realms of possibility, so I was furious to read somewhere today that Harry had accepted that by losing to Everton we had lost our last chance of survival. If he thinks that and accepts that the players think that too we are throwing away a real chance of survival.
I reckon that if you win all four your chances of survival are about 10%.Wigan to get two draws and beat Villa, who get no more than two draws or alternatively Wigan to win one and draw one before a home draw to Villa who have lost two and drawn one. While it is possible the chances are very slim.Myself I think 18th spot will go to a team on 37points and they may stay up on GD from another 37 point team.
If you win on Saturday you deserve to stay up, because our game isn't until Sunday!!! Or is this a cunning plan by Rangers to make sure you get the points
