So we need a striker... but who?

Everton are crying out for players, they havent signed anyone because they cant get rid of people like Yobo and Yakubu

 

The yak would be a good signing for us... given their lack of players would they be wanting to keep him, or get rid to bring in more do you think?

 

I would have Yak but still would want 1 more.

Do you think if Sven asked the owners they would give him money for both Yak and Maynard. It would come to around 10M but would give us the best squad in the league

 

Maynard is holding out for a prem team. IF no one (from the prem) comes in for him I think he will stay at BC till Jan & then, if LC are still interested, we´ll get him on the cheap rather than him doing one at the end of the season for nowt.

I'd buy a real winger for the wing, we don't need the Yak and Maynard, one would be fine with Nugent as back up. I don't like this using strikers/midfielders as wingers stuff that Sven's into.

My front 3 would be - pacey winger-Maynard-Gallagher

And King should be playing in midfield IMO.

 

Doubt we'll go back in for the Yak. It's a matter of principle I think and it sends out the message that we won't bow down to players demands. Everton seem to have him in their plans anyway.

That's all very nice but I think that attitude is costing us now.

 

If we had Yak at the start of the summer when we had the chance no one would of cared what wage we was paying him. I just want a striker here and dont care if its Maynard or Yak aslong as its someone who will stick the ball in the net
