It'd be like supporting Scunny. I can't remember the last time they actually had a disaster at the club. Even relegation was good for them because they couldn't afford to upgrade Glanford Park to Championship standards like they'd have had to do if they stayed up.

Agreed. I don't like what's gone on so far at all but looking to the future as Dutch suggests the best plan of action now is for the Allams to spend the money they're so happy to talk about spending. For this to end well we need some investment, more than we needed investment before all this happened.

Not relevant to thread but so, so accurate.

It's going to take a lot of money to do that. If they cough up and it all falls into place I'll be delighted.

I've said it many, many times but people need to stop stating that money will be spent and key players won't leave as though it's fact, just because the owners said so earlier today. If people want to believe them that's fine but stop stating it as though it's fact.

I the HDM today Koren's agent is saying there are lots of clubs interested in him. I know agents do say that but he must be unsettled by things that have gone on. I would think the two players who would have some sympathy for the supporters are Rosenior and Dawson but will they be able to calm things down. Please don't try and tell me the players are all perfectly happy with everything because I wouldn't believe it. I don't for one minute think that the Allams have the people skills to give them confidence in the future. Remember Nick as well liked and respected, he as one of their own as well as ours, also the fact they were not kept informed. I just fear that however much the Allams say they will not sell players we will have players who do no want to be here.

If the next manager does get it right next season both Barmby and Pearson will be happy as fans thats for sure.

Well said. I would also agree that the likes of Dawson and Rosie have a big part to play at the moment and the young lads will seek there council. Korens agent is doing what agents do. No more. Koren is quite settled at the moment but ive no doubt IF the wrong manager is appointed then RK will want out especially if some of the clubs interested are PL clubs.

One good thing that could come from all this in the future is that NB will feel he has unfinished business here for the sake of the fans who have backed him throughout.
I think Nick will go somewhere else and progress in experience until he becomes a very good manager. Then if the Allam dynasty is over he might come back and fulfill his and our ambitions.

I'm only bothered about who we get in as the new Manager to be honest. That's what counts most.

If we get the right man in then it will WORK next season.

The squad will be happy and Koren's agent will stop bleating and everything else will basically fall into place. Leicester will be told to pi55 off (again) and whoever he is will make the right signings to take the team/squad forward and improve on 8th place.

If we get the wrong man however.... well..... yeah..... you can imagine.

I know it's only May and all that, but the sooner a new man is in place with a team around him the better.

It's bad enough he won't be able to assess the squad properly until they all get back to pre-season training. But we need someone addressing the important issues: lack of goalkeepers, back-up defenders, another striker or two, maybe even another winger now Brady has gone etc etc.

This Barmby/Pearson/Allam mess is putting the skids under the main issue that I only really care about - the football!

Only if Huddersfield are doing well. I think while the Allams are still here he'll only be happy to see us doing well for friends he's got who are supporters.
