Yes me too unfortunately. Despite that amazing run it seemed implausible with the thinness of the squad. I feel incredibly sorry for Nigel. To have turned around that group of players as he did, to have climber the table as he did, and then to be given absolutely no backing.
I would have been a yes before the Blackburn game, but having gone there and seen the shambles caused by lack of central defenders cover, I’m a nay now.
we can still do it. Still a yes. will we, I doubt it. but we were unbeatable over Christmas get back to that then who knows I'll not be risking my 4p on it tho
Since 2009 the minimum number of points to secure a top 6 finish stands at 68 in 2013. The highest number of defeats of any team in the top 6 during that period is 16. The 2013 table... https://www.google.com/search?ei=xP...O1AvmXA#sie=lg;/m/0j9q996;2;/m/0355pl;st;fp;1;; It would take another exceptional winning run to make up for lost ground with only 15 games remaining. For the eternal optimist out there fancying their chances the bookies will give you 66/1 on Hull City gaining promotion, 20/1 to finish in the top 6. I guess that says it all. The fat lady is about to sing.
No hope. Teams have games in hand and we are at least four wins off contention. Just to catch up. If we don’t go up next season will be obscurity.
Take it away fat lady... No pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Nice try! Time for the owners to move on. But will that ever happen given their asking price?
Changed from a yay to a nay. Not enough done in the transfer window and 3 poor results from 4 games have made it more improbable. Not impossible, but pretty close to impossible.
Promotion is the last thing we need. The play-offs are a laugh & would keep the season alive but can you imagine the **** if we did actually go up? We have one player who’s possibly capable of playing at that level, he’s unproven & will be gone in the Summer regardless. We’ll also lose other players who are out of contract The investment needed just to beat Derby’s low point record would not only be massive it would also not be forthcoming. They wouldn’t invest & they wouldn’t sell. Play-offs & promotion can GTF. The Allams spoil it all, knowingly with a smile on their faces. ****s #AllamOut.
Great clip, from one that’s, musically at least, well mostly anyway, totally stuck in the sixties and seventies.
I'm not sure I want us to make the playoffs, can you imagine how many we'd take to Wembley this time under this current malaise? I dont think we'd even get close to matching the turn out we had against Wednesday and that was an embarressment.
Sort of agree, although I disagree that it was embarrassing. Many of us made a conscious decision not to go to a game that we didn’t want to win...if that was embarrassing it should have only embarrassed the owners
We can do it but still don't think we will, bit too inconsistent but so is everyone else. keeping the first 11 fit is key, different team with JDW AND Burke. Campbell to score the winner at Wembley against Leeds.
With Bowen, Grosicki and Pugh in the side we do look a real threat up front. To keep some continuity in the team we have I hope for promotion. The perfect scenario would be promotion and the owners ****ing off. If it however meant the dopey ****s staying to leach the parachute payments then I’d rather we stay put.
