Never tried one. Thought disgusts me. However, 2 things spring to mind: 1. I watched Nigella on the telly make deep fried Bounty Bars. That seems a little more interesting to me. Also means acceptance by foodies, I guess. 2. Chinese restaurants have been ding deep fried pineapple & banana for donkeys years, and even pour syrup over it. And not a word was said in the media. So I'm pulling the racist card here for all that abuse Scots and their deep fried Mars bar affinity!
