I agree with that - particularly since he offers more than Gower ever did. Our only free kick specialist and an important player for us imo. The last time a decent player who gives us so much was given such a hard time by the fans was Scotland.
He's vilified because he doesn't work hard enough apparently and is now almost a pantomine villain. Personally I think his defensive work has improved of late and I hope that continues. If you've got swanselona singing his praises then you know he's doing something right.
From my point of view I trust a guy with a glittering career like Laudrup over our fans when it comes to judging a player. End of.
