Im down with a virus aswell, im having a fooking relapse. we could start next season with the barcelona startng 11, and they would be s h i t e here..its not just the personal... its the whole system at this club, the training, the fitness, lack of application, hunger , professionalism...etc.. the fans are being well short chainged. everybody needs to sit down and have a think about where we are going...thats from top to bottom..literally...

I tend to agree with this. Wellens and Danns aren't good enough, and I haven't seen enough from Marshall or Drinkwater yet to be convinced by them. Dyer and Gallagher are only squad players for me.

Anyway, on a serious note, I said at the beginning that you were spending lots of money on mediocrity, but you do have the core of a team that could challenge for promotion next season with wise investment. I predict that next year we'll be competing with each other for a spot in the PL.

I think we have the nucleus of a good side in terms of individual ability but it's just about getting them to gel as a team and that will invariably take time. Having said that, it hasn't been good enough the last two games because we've been out-worked and out-fought in both and that is not acceptable.
But I think in NP we have the right man and, given a summer to get this squad in order, with a few of shrewd additions in the summer, I'd back us to be up there next season.
