If you're stating that first bit as fact you're gonna need some substantiation, practice what you preach and all that. For the record I agree actually, but I don't doubt for a second that the club was once up for sale, it's no more ridiculous than the others things they did at that time.

As for the players, how often are players transferred by early June? Is the window even open? Again, I don't think we will sell anyone now. I think they've calmed down a bit and started to behave a little bit more sensibly. But I'm sure players were up for sale at the time.

I think Barmby was the right decision for the wrong reasons, but then again he should have been dismissed from the club two years ago so I'm not arsed.

As for AP... the last time we had to appoint a manager we had a short list of Warren Joyce and Nick Barmby, today we've signed Steve Bruce. I doubt we'll miss him.

The club is for sale and has been since the day it was bought. The training ground will probably go within the next 12 months if not sooner. Lets face facts there are loads of supporters who want to see the Allams fail. Life is like that. There are loads of supporters who do not trust the Allams, life is like that. I bet that there are loads of local businesses who have been affected by the business decisions of the Allams, life is a bitch at times isnt it.

The truth is love them or hate them the Allams have proved yet again that they are better at this game than many give them credit.

It was originally OLM who said it, and as he at the time had very reliable sources within the club, he got the lineups before every game and he's proven enough times that he has inside info to be able to tell us something which can't be proven and for us to believe it.

Ok Ben I read your points, I think I made my own. I hope the Allams don't fire Bruce if he says things they don't like. Also when are we moving to Melton, or was that a load of dribble like some of the other statements they made? I really want Bruce to do well but Nicky should still be the manager whatever some of our more sheep-like fans think, and he's been treat like total ****. He blew nothing last year despite what some of these cocos think, we have been in the play-offs ONCE in our history, so what did Nicky blow- answer=**** all.

 

Agreed. I'd forgotten about Melton but that's another one. We didn't get the KC so we're going to Melton instead now, right?

 

Also I want the Allams to do well and the best for the club but blindly accepting what they have done as being right is clueless, I have my fingers crossed and every thing else they don't pull out and leave us in the lurch, and some of the dumdums on here are giving them a ready made excuse to do so by blaming the fans instead of their failed business interest, i.e. not getting the KC development, please get real some of you cocos

 

Barmby didnt underachieve thats a fact and anybody saying so is just showing a complete ignorance of football and the history of our club, well thats history now anyway. Please Bruce do well, and please owners don't spit the dummy out again, leave us in the lurch then blame the fans!

In my opinion the Allams saw Nicky Barmby had failed.
