I'm just certain that Pochs team is sending out loads of tenuous links in order to pimp him to clubs.

In the last week, we've had Rose saying Pochettino will end up at Man Utd. Reports that Poch wanted Maguire. Ardilles saying that Pochettino has got a good offer from us, but wants to wait and see. Poch saying that he thought he would take over Mourinho at Real Madrid.

Now there's rumours that should Zidane not win anything this season, he will be sacked. Ole after impressing for the last several matches, now on tender hooks that he's going to be sacked.

A few people on twitter seem to think the whole thing is bull **** and hasn't actually been approached. George Caulkin claimed that no contact had been made as of a week ago.

so what you think rafa would come here if he had a better option?

that's how this **** works mate

Since Nuno became wolves manager he had spent roughly the same. But then Nuno had a championship squad when he took over.

Poch had a top 6 PL squad when he took over.

ahhh I the old roughly the same line comes in .. I was right then

poch achieved his aim... top 4 .. be then got no money to build on it..

nuno has done less as a manager.

tbh he wouldn't leave wolves anyway and either would better than our current **** manager.

I'm getting irritated with people saying I don't want this, I don't want that.

I though all you wanted was a club that tries.??? aye that.

No need to reply.

You're making this up as you go along

no he hasn't

at Southampton and Tottenham aye.

which of these other supposed great managers have won things at these types of clubs..

Koeman lost Shaw, Lallana, Lambert, Chambers, Lovren in his 1st season at Southampton and finished 2 places higher than Pochettino.

Ramos won the league Cup with Spurs.

no they didn't mate

Yes they did.

Lloris
Rose
Walker
Vertonghen
Chiriches
Kaboul
Winks
Naughton
Paulinho
Dembele
Chadli
Eriksen
Townsend
Bentaleb
Capoue
Lamela
Lennon
Sandro
Soldado
Adebayor
Kane

Were all at the club when Pochettino took over.

Jol, AVB, Harry, Ramos all had Spurs in the top 5.

From an outsider looking in Rafa would be an awful appointment imo. Apart from the 'never go back' mantra he's an old school type that's on his way down when you surely want a younger and more progressive manager?

I also don't think he did as well as you lot as some seem to believe. Swap Joelinton for Rondon and Bruce would probably get a similar (if not better) points total this season.

Surely if you're gonna have millions to spend your want to see decent football too? Honestly think it'd be a terrible move to make after such a big takeover and would seem very sideways.

If he'll come you should get Poch, might not win you anything (though you haven't since the 50's anyway so not sure why that's such a big thing) but give him the funds and he'll get you into Europe. Once there you might be able to attract a 'winner'.

I agree , but rafa wouldn't be a bad choice.. but it would be a bit dull

I think people forget rafa won loads

No he hasn't. He's statistically worse in every possible way. The data is out there, we're bottom of the table in every stat. What is it 2 wins in 12 or something **** like that.

He didn't lose Rondon, Rondon was only here on loan.

Bruce chose to sanction the sale of Ayoze, just like he chose to sanction the purchase of Joelinton.

This notion that Rafa is a boring defensive manager who's out of touch is borderline insane.

He broke every attacking start at Liverpool, Napoli and Real Madrid whilst he was at those clubs.

Have you thought, that he adapts his squad to what he has to work with.
