Not quite accurate, I was in the press conference I believe you refer to. It was post the match when Brown tried to sub Geo off, the KC crowd were incredulous and Geo initially refused to come off standing his ground for a good 90 seconds. In the post match press conference Brown was asked for his reaction and he said: "Geovanni is presently having his drugs test. I hope he fails it".
So the current Southend manager is getting paid a nice little sum (as is everyone who appears on local TV news programmes to talk about their experiences) to talk about something totally unrelated to his current club. If I was a Southend director (apart from being depressed I supported Southend) I would be wanting a word with the manager who the club are paying a nice little wage to and telling him to concentrate on his current job or else.
