I thought Arry might get involved and I didn't mean to imply that Gazza kicking a kid's ball in to the river was a good thing - I thought it was indicative of what was to come. I think Balotelli has the same anger inside.
precisely ! ---------------------- I don't know if your married or not, if you are, would your wife be still with you if you treated her like that. No, I keep her in the boot of my car - keeps it from skidding on corners. Gascoigne changed the day he did his knee. For someone like him, that was like taking away his whole life. Regards your comment, I make a point of NEVER involving myself in other people's private affairs, because I don't know all the facts. Judge yea not, lest yea be judged I did say, did I not, that I don't condone domestic violence. I said it so I wouldn't get some jackass coming back with the sort of reply I just got from you
You can only help those who are prepared to help themselves. Just like George Best, a mercurial talent as a footballer, but could not handle his off field life. The similarities between these 2 are scary, Gazza does not have long left for this world, which is such a shame as he has in my lifetime (72-now), been the ONLY truly gifted footballer to pull on an England shirt .
The documentary on him a couple of years ago was fascinating. A truly fantastic player that would have graced any team in the world in his hey day. Very very sad to see him like this, but I can understand how it happens.
sadly I think supcons right, but his goal against Scotland in euro 96 will live with me forever, truly great.
