Chazz, if you want to get up with my band and sing that song, then just say so mate! No need to drop these hints that you are frustrated Gladys Knight or Barbara Streisand...we can make it happen for you!

I can see where he's coming from.

We'll attract a lot of ****s who won't come back to watch us when we go down, and are only there to see their other teams, who they've never seen play in person. That's not what football is about.

Prices for tickets will be a joke. That's not what football is about.

More games moved so people in other countries can watch the matches. FA & Premier League don't give a monkeys toss about the fans as long as they're making money. You can wave goodbye to 3pm kick offs.

City will be outplayed in most games next season, and the number of defeats on the bounce will be irritating. There will be more bad days next season than good, and we'll have the ****s come out the woodwork either gloating how their adopted team beat City, or how bad City are.

I know a lot of City fans, who aren't renewing.

I think 'a lot' might be pushing it, I happen to know that there's barely anyone who hasn't renewed.

Likewise Golaccio, I can too! The cynicism and the hype as well as too many media interests calling the shots is, without doubt, galling at times. However, when I think of the those fans or followers who were born, lived and died but never got to see our team in the top flight, then a part of me can't understand it. I write this on the anniversary of my dad's passing 17 years ago. He took me to BP as a boy, as I did with my son and through some pretty dark days. I remember him saying that he thought the top flight would never happen now in his or probably my life time. I'm glad he was wrong, but very sad that he never saw them in the top flight. He loved to watch amateur football and played it, but I know how much he wanted to city up there with the best. I hope Mussie gets the fixture list he wants Ferriby at home, city away and vice versa...

Just one fly in the ointment - you have assumed sir (the OP), that we will only spend one season in the PL with that comment - I hope we will be in the PL for a lot longer than that dear Sir, as yes there is the dirty feeling about taking the murdoch millions (I loathe Murdoch btw and feel outraged that those victims of News International phone hacking media wise are happy to appear in Sky programmes, but that is getting onto tricky political debate), but are you dear OP and anyone else who will not attend Hull games simply because we are PL going to deprive Papa of the sheer joy we saw on his face when we got promoted. That facial expression is the image we should be taking forward throughout the season, there will be highs, there will be lows (especially when we see an overpaid diving opposition player rolling around the KC as if we have all shot him) but we know we will not be repeating the mistakes of last time, so let's just enjoy the ride

Correct. Les Hare is asking the Blue Square league to make sure that there home games are when City are away for obvious reasons. I wonder if a deal will be done with City for fans who dont or wont go to away games ? Makes sense.

The BSQ fixtures are not released until after the PL and FL ones for reference.

If people are not renewing because we're in the premier league then, being blunt, **** them.

The only thing worse than those ****ers supporting 'glory teams' when we were ****e and them taking the piss out of me for supporting City....... was then seeing the ****S attending Premier League matches and claiming to be diehard City fans. Rest assured every single time I saw one of them I said it very loudly in front of their new friends "Oh, you didn't fancy going to Bellend Road / Hillsborough today? What changed you ****ing twat?"

I loved seeing them squirm, I really did.

There was only 2 of us in my year 87-92 at school who supported the tigers..apart from us being **** I can now see why many parents wouldn't want to take their kids to BP now being a parent myself..it stank of piss and fights outside the ground where commonplace..i think if we were playing at the KC at the time they would have been a lot more schoolkids supporting city.

He's renewed though hasn't he, as his CI post proves.

This, despite all his dramatic speeches and posturing about abandoning City on principle whilst in the 'Murdoch League'.

Like I said, it's about having the courage of your convictions.

If he says that he finds the Premier League so abhorrent that he can't attend, then he shouldn't attend.

But whoopsie, one attention-seeking thread later and an ill-advised slip on a lesser used forum, and he's outed as a bullshitter.

    To hell with principles!

Can you imagine what it would be like to meet him?

    Chilling thought.

Not really. A plastic is someone in my view who only supports a club when it suits them, and jumps ship to another club when it suits them too. Displays no commitment and is no better than the ER Whites.

i just popped to ladbrokes and they are running a 'Mussie Special'. it's for us to get back2back2back2back relegations, 100/1 so had a couple of quid. i agree with him, any league worth it's salt features the word 'Conference'.

I disagree: Mussie is a dedicated fan, who just happens to hate the (Murdoch) Sky media - and the deleterious effect it's had on the 'EPL'. So he refuses to pay his cash to that travesty of sport.

Do you really think that he will no longer support City? That he won't follow their every move?

(To me - 'plastic' describes a fan who is only interested/'involved' when their local club gets into the EPL and gives them a chance to watch games against the 'top' teams)

If only that were true, then at least he would be following through with his protestations.

But he's not. 'Cos he's going.

    So he's talking ****.
