Guess I'd better add the final postscript. Lambo has slunk off home (no not really) but we'll be meeting up in Chester and France for ever more so all is good. I don't mean to insult any fans however armchair bound. It is purely a personal belief that I don't feel that I should comment if I don't go to games. I recently met a guy in a car park. His car sported a Saints badge, and he a Saints shirt, but he told me he had never been to SMS. I have no doubt he hurts as much as I when they lose, and enjoyed the promotion party last year. It is simply me. Lambo, for his own reasons is also bowing out. We both shall, of course, always be Saints. I will be listening to Saints Player and fuming with you when Lallana goes down and no penalty is given. I will scream like a banshee when Rickie whacks in a winner. I truly love the club, but I feel that it is for others to comment in future and I look forward to reading your enlightening posts (yes even yours you blue nosed buggers - I love your contributions). I am off to Charente-Maritime. The land of Pineau, great wine and (merde) Rugby. Take care all UTS
I wish you would change your mind. It's a shame to lose two such good posters. In fairness I dont usually post about a match which I haven't attended but since there are so many other things which are Saints related on here, that needn't be a problem. Surely you will have an opinion on next seasons shirt, with it's red and white hoops? Enjoy your time in France, and stay connected.
Hopefully this is Au Revoir and not goodbye. Two great posters who will be missed if they don't change their minds. No doubt the bustling pace of life, poor local wine and the widely acknowledged shoddy local cuisine will see you thinking increasingly of posting here again...... All the best gentlemen.
Charente-Maritime..? La Rochelle and all that area. My personal favourite is the South and the Med, but I'd have no problem where you're going either. You won't need my good wishes where you're off to, it's a damn sight better than most places. Don't be afraid to post occasionally. Remember, we have an off-topic thread too and I suspect that with Saints player allowing you to watch matches a couple of days after the event, you'll feel reasoned well informed enough to comment on-topic too. Cheers
