I think some are expecting far too much of Clyne.

 

As do I. He's impressed a lot during pre-season but I'd be a huge hypocrite to lambast people for claiming Sharp and Puncheon are our two best players based on pre-season and then claim the same myself about Clyne. I think he'll be fine, and in a couple of years top drawer, but I'm not ready to place him among the Premier League elite just yet.

He was superb against Ajax and Udinese.I know it's only pre-season,but if he plays like that this season then he will become one of our best players.
