IMO, yes! I personally don't think there is a better keeper with the ball at his feet. He is a superb shot stopper too and can read too, perfect for a sweeper-keeper.

That is not me saying he is the best in the world, far from it. But there is no one better for the role of a Barcelona style 'pass a team to death' approach IMO

As for this season, he has been a lot better than last season and he has started to refind his form. whether he was trying to earn a move or not is another matter. If he leaves, he will have my blessing, he has given us eight fantastic years of service

 

Fair enough, how old is he though? Is he under contract? Would it be worth cashing in on him if Barcelona do come for him?

 

He is 30 so its definitely worth cashing in if Barcelona come sniffing.
