Sarr from Watford, Aarons from Norwich possibly. Some might say Puki.

Funniest thing about that is I don’t think with Ashley, we’d of even enticed Pope, Targett or McNeil, never mind Bruno etc.

Wilson, Saint Maximin; Willock, even spunking £40m on Joelinton all happened recently under Ashley.
They’re all of the same level. I’m sure these guys are steady and will make the team better as a whole but it’s not the ambition I was expecting.

Actually can’t get over how depressing those January windows were hoping to get Choudhury on loan, yet still not being able to pull that off, genuinely never been so close to killing this football club. **** me it was hard supporting us with that idiot at the helm.

Nick Pope stat. 2nd most saves in the last 3 PL seasons. Think he's our new number 1 personally. Maybe can't use his feet that well but neither does Dubravka but Pope is head and shoulders above Dubs when it comes to dealing with crosses.

Don't worry Munse, I have the stat as backup if you need it :emoticon-0105-wink:

Great signing and with Dubravka's rececnt injury woes - a really smart piece of business for an England international.

For me I think Dubravka is the number 1 as he is the better all round keeper but Pope against teams who like to cross as he is a lot better at collecting crosses. There are 40-49 games this season, if there are no replays in cup games which I don't believe there are due to the World Cup, so if you averaged out Dubravka's last two seasons to 21 games a year they should both get a good amount of game time this year.

I do however think Pope will have wanted assurances of a starting spot at the beginning of the season in a world cup year so could see him starting the year as the number 1.

Either way two very good goalies at the club is never a bad thing as they will push each other all the way and will hopefully mean we can concentrate on both cups.

Anyone else notice that Marvin sounds just like that talk show radio guy.. James O'brien? Except James mentions Brexit every 5 mins.

James O’Brien used to be, I think, the host years and years back for Night Owls on Metro Radio (?)
