I agree. Everyone (except for me of course) is a fanny. Had a chuckle on the way up to the Freeman this morning, two cars trying to get up the short bank with their front wheels spinning away on the snow and going nowhere. Just drove onto the other side of the road which was more or less clear of snow and overtook them using the 4WD. I did think about getting out and helping them with my snow shovel but I didn't think their stupidity deserved it.
When was it decided that age was an indicator of maturity like? I'm 42 so I must've missed that memo about 25 years ago I reckon ! Nowt to think about mate, get that sledge buffed up and hit some slopes
I've had a fun day looking down the bank from my office (home) window, there's some right ****ing pricks on the road like !! Aye, just keep spinning ya wheels mate, eventually you'll shift enough snow to find some grip......NOT !!!
He clearly didn't think that! Had i not still been in me jim jams (lazy day working from home) i would have hopped in me 4x4 and sat in front of him till he moved (backwards of course), stupid twat !
Local boozer is opening earlier tomorrow (normally 4pm but 11 now) so I may take a half day and drink beer for summat to do.
Today was fine down south, no snow at all, sunshine all day, just cold (-4). Took me 1.5 hours to do a 45min journey into work despite roads having no snow on them. Thur & Fri meant to be the worse 2 days so think it's going to be working from home for me
Great morning sledging/boarding. Sprained my thumb it’s come up swollen a beauty. No pain no gain. Only downside is walking back and someone can’t walk any further...you end up with a 9yr old on your shoulders walking in 6in of snow the day after leg day
I drove back up here from Stoke last night. Took me 8 hours instead of 3 and a half, but luckily there was a surprising shortage of the usual twats that **** up in the snow. Worst bit was on the A1(M) when it went complete whiteout and I could only see the crash barrier at the side of the road, so had to use that to see where I was going. Next thing I knew I was heading down a slip road onto a quiet road that was just deep snow!
A1 at Washington Services yesterday was bedlam. Jack knifed lorries and the usual rear wheel drive idiots trying to get grip in the snow. Blizzards, zero visibility.
