According to RH Snodgrass transfer will not be concluded this week, but early next, but they understand there is no major problems just ironing out the finer detail.

Do we not do business on a Saturday or Sunday? It's 15.41 on Friday afternoon, will 4 hours of negotiations not see it done if there isn't much else to change? Why would it take an extra 2 days to iron out small print?!

Chances are it is all about finalized and they dont want to announce it on a Friday night. No need to get worried.
The way I see it is that there are a few areas of our game that need addressing.
Corners, free kicks and delivery into the box.
When a player comes along that ticks all those boxes it's better to pay a bit over the odds than let him go elsewhere and then spend the money on someone who doesn't tick the boxes.
I think( if he signs) we've got one of the best dead ball specialists in the PL and a player who weighs in with goals and assists.
He's a street wise, niggly little f**ker as well. One of those players that gets on other teams players tits, something we're severely lacking.
We're too nice at times and Snods will add a bit of guile and bite to the midfield, no doubt he'll gob off at the ref and try to 'simulate' to win free kicks but like it or not that's the way football has gone. Not going, it's gone.
Overall, I'll be very happy if Snodders signs.
Very happy indeed.

Would not worry John. Not a problem even if true. But Nobody actually knows other than both clubs, the player and his agent.
Maybe he has to get back to Norwich or his tea will end up in the dog. ?![]()

Well as long as he didn't go out to lunch, as they have a habit of not coming back![]()
