I think you'll find it's about how much we want for him, and if it's true you have £12m total for transfers (not just fees) then you definitely can't afford him if you want to make any more signings. He may be worth £4m tops to you but he's worth more than that to us.

In 12 months he'll be worth a big fat ZERO to you ! ponder that?

Or he could have been the difference between promotion or no promotion like Beckford was.

According to twitter (so, in other words, it could be a load of bollocks) Snodgrass has come out and said he wants to join Norwich

Usual bollocks twitter source, wouldn't read anything into it. He may want to join you for all we know but he hasn't come out and said anything.

I would agree about Twitter being bollocks but I first heard about Lambert resigning on their the night it happened. I was dismissing that. It's like the Sun, they normally get all the stories early but they **** it up by posting dross.

Unless Leeds' takeover is completed within a week and the new owners state they will spend what it takes to get Leeds into the Premier League this season, he will leave, and in my opinion that will happen. However, I'm still not convinced he'll join Norwich.

It's from someone calling themselves "@BPLTransferNew1" think that tells you everything you need to know, someone making up believable ****e and hoping some of it will stick. Also seems to have very strong%2

cynical view maybe, but this has all the hallmarks of a final bates nail in the leeds coffin. bates decides to cash in on their prize asset, upsetting the locals more than ever before, then sells the club.

stranger things have happened...

either way, i very much doubt snodgrass will be a leeds united player come this time next year <ok>

Whether its with us, villa, whoever, I think he owes it to himself to get out - the guy is prem standard and whatever may or may not transpire with this takeover of theirs, it's no guarantee - and that's what the guy wants and for his loyalty so far, probably deserves...Leeds fans are carrying on as if this takeover is promotion...which clearly it isn't...ask Leicester...

Can't be. While we're in takeover talks none of the assets (i.e. players) can be sold off without the new owners', and therefore Warnock's, permission. If he goes it will be because he wants to and we've received a bid Colin thinks is acceptable. Unless those two things happen he'll be staying until January at least.

As much as you may think PL football and money means everything this football club means a lot to Snoddy and if he thinks there's a good chance of promotion with us next season I have no doubt he'll stay, and the defence has already improved incredibly since this time last year.

You only have to look at Snoddys record to see he is very loyal, but maybe he's gone as far as he can with Leeds? He was loyal to stay last year to be fair

takeover or no takeover - it guarantees nothing. premier league football is the biggest draw for a player these days - he'd earn the same amount with us as he would with you no doubt. to be honest, 90% of teams in the championship think they have 'a good chance' of promotion EVERY summer, so what makes leeds so special that they will automatically be challenging? its the most open division in the world - leeds have as much chance of finishing top as they do bottom!
