I've been very hard on Snodgrass this season, but I would be the first to admit he has great qualities. He's a fighter and he works his socks off. He was great for us last season. I was very angry about the penalty incident against Villa, and I felt he was getting too high an opinion of himself. I also think it's been harder for him this season because people have worked him out, and he needs to change his play in response. He is less flexible than Pilks but much less likely to go missing in matches. I can't see anything wrong in what he says (assuming the translation from Glaswegian was accurate!). Last Saturday he looked back to his best in the second half, so let's hope that continues from now on.
See it's articles like this that emphasises why I think he should have been made captain over the summer. Snoddy just seems to have something about him that Bassong doesn't (no disrespect) obviously we're not privy to what happens in training and behind-the-scenes but.... I don't think it should be changed now tho Sent from my Sony Xperia Z1
In my opinion, the saddest thing about this is, that one of the players actually feels the need to have to come out and say it, it ought to be blatantly obvious to even the slowest of supporters that barracking and booing will never have a beneficial effect.
