Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder has been offered by an agent to relegation-haunted QPR, according to their manager Harry Redknapp. The 28-year-old Holland international has been linked with a host of Barclays Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool, as the Italian giants look to get him off their wage bill. Redknapp told The Sun: "I was asked by one agent if I wanted to sign Sneijder. Of course I do. However, he's on about £200,000 a week and now he wants to join QPR? I won't name the agent, but let's just say I think a deal is unlikely." Inter have asked Sneijder to take a pay cut if he wants to stay at the club, something he has not agreed to do. http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/8379184/Redknapp-I-was-offered-Sneijder
Arry didn't hide who it was with the "I won't name the agent". No shame, but we're obviously seen as easy targets, wonder why???
It's not BS....but won't happen. It just shows what agents think of QPR and shows Wesleys ambitions....to earn as much as possible regardless of the team....£200,000 a week...yeah right!!
Big difference between us approaching a player and an agent approaching us. Plus that quote is in the sun so its 50/50 chance whether its been made up or not
Sneijder keen on England move, but not QPR Read more: http://www.eyefootball.com/news/12949/Sneijder-keen-on-England-move,-but-not-QPR.html I'm so disappointed ...
So do either of his ex-bosses Mancini or Mourinho fancy him? Would seem not as they would have gone for him ages ago, Inter desperate to sell as the ****ers are skint - hence Cesar to us.
It was interesting listening to Gabriele Marchotti last week, he reckons Sneijder has few options as he's played for most of the biggest clubs and the other big clubs don't need him. He reckons his only realistic chance is a straight player swap with AC Milan...
Seriously, his wages are £150k a week TAX PAID. He'd have to get £600K a week at PSG where they are bringing in a 75% top rate. The Spanish tax rates are high as well. I don't see any PL club paying him £250K a week, his options are diminishing...
