Strange. I thought they had a clear #1 in Etheridge? Who has been a superb signing from Walsall and one of the reasons behind their promotion.

Where have you heard this Nines? Fingers crossed it's just a rumour.

Heard it too. On twitter, on news website,....we paid 1.5....so it represents a profit and we have two very good goalies I believe.

It was always something I thought we would do... We cannot keep all 3

If true, so much for TF's comments of not wanting over the hill players but building a team with young and hungry players. <doh>

£4 Mill seems to be a bit on the low side - how long is left on his contract? Agree Lumley seems to be a decent replacement, but don't think Ingram is ready for first team football at Championship level.

It does make sense to sell him, with two other good keepers on the books, but £4 million is not nearly enough.

Pretty much expect him to be off...... But as everyone has said £4m for a keeper of his ability is way too low

Should be looking for £6m minimum when you see whats paid for utterly average dross nowadays

We always seem to undersell players... ... Seems to have always been the way as far as i can recall.... . Disappointing

It did occur after my first post that everyone else knows we have no money. As confirmed by McLaren in his first interview.

This came from some clickbait nonsense Twitter. Doubt there’s much in this.
Cardiff City 'agree £4million deal' with QPR for goalkeeper Alex Smithies - reports - football.london https://www.football.london/queens-park-rangers-fc/alex-smithies-qpr-cardiff-city-14828100

Who the **** is Sport Witness and their "reporter" Pete O'Rourke <laugh>

Bid accepted according to BBC sport.

4. Million not too bad
He wasn't that wonderful 2nd half of the season
Seems a good way forwards for all three parties
Wish him luck
Cardiff in the cup at home
Here we go
