Sell him AT any price possible, 500k would do!

Hopefully one of the promoted teams from the Championship might want that ''experience'' in there midfield to see them through the year... and hopefully they can pay his wages!

Smith is past it! Can't play as a striker anymore, he doesn't have the pace, the skill or ability to displace any of our midfielders and is getting older, sell him in the summer! Inman, Vuckic and Gosling are all waiting in the wings!

Got a lot of respect for Smithy, always ready to roll his socks down and get stuck in. Sure, his better days are behind him and we can get by without him but he's been a good servant to us and should be allowed to leave with dignity.

Smith is a good solid pro but I don't think he has a realistic chance of breaking into our team again, not if we're serious about progressing.

I'm sure he'd take a wage cut to get regular playing time, he seems like the sort of man who enjoys his football. QPR?

Chances are Smudger will get the chance to end his own career in a fitting manner - coming on as a sub and coming back off, almost immediately, on a stretcher following a trademark rash two-footed tackled.
