Personally, I think it wont be too long before a bigger club sacks their manager, and comes knocking on our door.
If we are going to get promoted he will stay, hopefully

I agree on the best since Dicks comment.I took a bit of a herd mentality when he was appointed particularly after I had read comments by Forest fans on a forum of theirs. They were pretty scathing to be honest. The one that made me chuckle was the comment about how Forest would have won 1-0 if the other team hadn't scored 2. A lot of Forest fans seemed to give up at that point.
Funnily enough, I knew what he was trying to say. Sometimes you get a game when you are all over the opposition and the only thing they did all game was to stick the ball in the back of the net twice.
Having got to know him being with us, his nature is infectious and his enthusiasm is enormous. I would go as far as saying that he has been the best manager since Dicks and hope he goes on to be the most successful.

As far as Cotterill being enticed away, it would be in his interest to consider this.
In the 35 years I have supported Bristol City I have rarely seen a manager so completely perfect for the dynamic of this club, from his accent to his approach, from his encouragement of the kids to his treatment of the fans, and from his love of playing the game right to his energy and enthusiasm. And for his results both on and off the pitch regarding the club.
Would he find that elsewhere ? Would he get the gratitude and financial backing of the board and major shareholder at say Fulham, or Spurs ?
Or would the pressure and a few misunderstood comments (that we now understand as a quirky sense of humour) be a knife for his back ?
Cotterill is nobody's fool, and I really believe that he is here to stay.
Onwards and upwards
