Showers cost a f*cking fortune. Washing machines, tumble driers, kettles etc cost a canny bit as well.
Used to bypass my leccy meter and also had a spare gas meter. used to get a month each quarter for nowt. Should I be saying that on an open forum?

Even ya TV on standby uses 25% of its power. Cost f*ck all to run but its still a saving.

The quality of the meters is dreadful considering the huge ammount of money invested by the industry
Also switching suppliers cannot always be done unless the meter is set in the dumb mode which means you would still have to read it and send the figures in .
