So Deane Smalley has left to join on Bradford on loan until the end of the season. Although we haven't seen the best of him so far this season I'm a little surprised he's been allowed to leave as we are so short up front at the moment, unless CW has a new signing up his sleeve http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16629186.stm
It just has't happened for Deane Smalley at Oxford, could Deane become another Jack Midson and start performing at another club? Sometimes it's just like. Chris Wilder is always on the look out to improve the squad and he may have someone in mind to bring in, or it might just be a shrewd financial arrangement. Hopefully a big strong target man is being lined up as Deane's replacement to play alongside Beano. Anyone remember Jullian Alsop?
