I've extolled Give Sluts a Chance in recent weeks.
But the last quarter of the Brizzle game was abysmal.

As is the sack for anyone who throws away a two goal lead in a must win game.
If / When Slutsky does eventually depart from the club then i hope against hope that the board make the correct decision. They know the majority of fans have hatred towards them just as much as they have contempt towards the fans. Any manager coming in has to have a ruthless side that basically says to the Allams " yes you may employ me but that doesnt mean i have to like you," ( a Tony Pullis, Mick McCarthy type of manager). Unfortunately i expect them to go with a manager who will tow the party line and do as they are told (Nigel Adkins to me is a prime example of a manager with a soft underbelly). The club needs direction, the players need a royal bollocking and some home truths, the board need to be told to stay the hell away from the playing side of things and the fans need someone at the club who understands their fears and anger and will bring in some giant balls of steel. Is Nigel Adkins that person ? i dont think so, is Slutsky that type of person? another negative. i dont know the answer to the connundrum. but i am hoping against hope that the correct decision is made and made soon whilst there is still time to save our season.
Fair point Miff, hope you are feeling better these says. Maybe we should make McGregor head coach, he wouldn't stand any ****, and boy when he is angry, he's angry.
Feel a bit sorry for Tony Pennock, it looks as if more or less the same thing will happen as did with Mike Phelan.
I fear McGregor has joined the I don't give. a 4X crew too. He's been the reason we aren't bottom this season and yesterday, I think even he thought enough is enough. I'm Alan McGregor get me out of here..
I'm sure you're right, he probably goes back in the dressing room and blows off at it team mates, but non of them understand a words he says anyhow.
Shouldn't be if but when, we were 2-0 up, 30 mins to go & comfortable, the subs, wrong time, wrong players, lost us that Bristol game and that's down to Slutsky. Nice man apparently, but exudes no motivation or personality from the pitch side to players. Going off his interview yesterday, he has mentally gone, is suffering massively, FFS you wouldn't treat a dog like this, he needs to be put out of his misery quickly and not prolong his agony, and ours.

Whilst I still maintain the last minute transfer activity was a big factor, yesterday's defeat was definitely due in part to Sluts lack of experience in this division as we yet again let a lead slip so easily against a good side. If he does get the sack he will have too look back and ask himself could I,or anyone else have done things any better under the circumstances...and that can or will only be answered for sure in the New year?
I wouldn't feel too bad. Not when the person so upset with you writes "I will however; let it slide this once" instead of "I will, however, let it slide this once". Tell your wife to stop packing her bags.
Only if no other team has dropped points from winning positions. You can't take these things in isolation.

This is where JNR excels, we will limp on till xmas/new year, when the situation is all but lost, jnr will act, (poor old Slutsky will then be sack) he'll bring in a new guy, we will have a mini resurgence but fall at the last hurdle and be relegated to league one , all the loans will bugger off back to their parent club's ,what talent we have left at the club will be sold, jnr will then appoint another fall guy (sorry manager) tell us all that "we're one of the best run clubs in league one" even though attendances have fall to around 10,000 mark (if we're lucky) pre season/ transfers will be farce and they still won't sell, just praying that the time till their receive the last parachute payment passes quickly, because then i believe they will suddenly find a buyer and go.
