Len would not have took this job without knowing that McGuire and Robertson would be sold. Clucas, Davies, Huddlestone would have been a surprise to him. These players bought in a serious lot of money and I am sure that Len must have expected a better recruitment. He has not bought the back room squad that Silva had and has had no assistant so to speak. In my opinion he has not got a grasp of the championship and the way it needs playing. Has he also been given the **** end of the stick. Absolutely.

That is all speculation though, if he did get a load of broken promises shouldn't he have spoken out/resigned? He must have been aware of the history of the owners, he seemed to realise we were waiting on the loans. Since Bruce we have been putting in untested managers in English football and depending on loans and the results have been poor.

Reactions: Porthmeor Tiger
as i said many many many times, mcgregor is the best keeper at the club even when people thought 'the jak' was the prophet. he moved onto to never play for lester, a pathetic coward of a guy like the one who feigned injury when he ****ed up. a non hull city player unlike mcgregor.
How you all dared mock Allan, comes back to haunt.. comes back to haunt.. i said few months ago
aina and hector are ****e

hector is what 25 and been at 73 diff clubs. he's ****. ****e. ****eee.. chelsea have about 3,430 loanees.. scrap him
scrap aina
tomori is at least talented

im pissed of that i said davies and huddlestone were so **** but now just outside the play offs..
it shows what a good manager can do.. imagine we took rowett instead of silva..
slutsky is ****e
ye won russian league with cska moscow, not much of a achievement really.. akinfeev at cksa moscow got his first CL clean sheet in 11 years recently.. yea of course after slutsky leaves.. slutsky managed them from 2009-2016..
just another example of slutsky utter ineptitude, he's utter ****e
he lost 3-0 to wales in a european championship ffs.. that's enough to think he's ****, he's as much a manager as noddy. they actually share a striking resemblance..

i once again go against my self. this squad with steve fat bruce would be near the play offs..

slutsky out.
fancy needing a **** russian website to see the team play..

If they'd took him on in the summer we'd have finished upper mid table last season and he'd now be Everton manager as Ehab would have taken the £10m for him....
.

This gets repeated like it's the truth here but we actually don't know what would have happened had Silva been there at the start of last season. Hopefully he would have brought in better players than Grosicki and Evandro but we don't know. Or got loan players who would have form that lasted than just tailed off after the initial fresh start. The preseason had already been disrupted by the Allams dragging on their decision over Bruce.

Lose tomorrow, and I expect white smoke to ascend from Allam Towers and Nigel Adkins to be taking training on Monday.

There is fresh article in russian press today. About Leonid's future in Hull City. International agent Shandor Varga told that he had discussion with Ehab Allam about Slutskii's job security. Ehab told him that everything's fine, he (Leonid) doesn't need to worry about sacking, they (directors) are worried that he's worrying too much.
Also Varga told that there are movements about winter transfers and they are already working to strengthen the team (no names though).

Sorry to fans who are waiting for tomorrow sacking, but probably still NO. The prooflink below for those who are interested to translate.

We're not losing tomorrow so Slutsky is staying, mate. Don't forget, Bristol begins with B.

I may be to soft but I worked for a boss who I really liked, he made a few blobs but I liked him and I worked extra hard for the bloke but he got the sack in the end which I reckon will happen to our manager very soon. I was gutted when my boss left because he was a genuinely nice fella but the difference with this situation. Is that we pay money to go watch our team so don't want to put up with someone making blobs how ever whilst he is here I will still bet behind the team in fact even more tomorrow because I don't like to see someone under so much pressure, blimey he's like a caged lion has it his. We all know he hasn't been backed but also he's made some daft mistakes and I've moaned about him and said why has he put that team out, god I'm pissed been out since 1pm, Enjoy tomorrow and support the black and amber shirt because despite all our problems we don't want to go down again, good night

According to the taxi driver who, to be fair, knew ****ing everything about ****ing everything (I assume Taxi driving is a hobby and he just does it to take his mind off his multi billion pound business empire) Slutsky was told at the Hallmark (which the Allams apparently own) that if he didn’t don’t win today he was out

Good because he is bloody clueless

Better than last week's pro Allam driver. I did feel obliged to warn him as I got out, leaving just you two that any pro Allam rhetoric would not be tolerated. If he took heed, I hope you tipped him well?

Yes the Allams are a problem.

I’ve previously defended Slutsky.

But seriously. Why take off Campbell? Why take off Bowen?

Why leave Henrikson on? Actually why select him in the first place?

I have a lot of patience and sympathy for a manager but he’s simply not making it easy.

He’s not doing himself any favours either.
