SAF also said UTD have 20 league titles, no other team in England have that many.

No other team in England cares either.

Fantastic achievement though, has to be said.

No one, that's my point. I remember plenty of opposition fans (and a few managers as well) demanding bans for other players for feigning fouls or injuries - if SAF was a bitter as you all claim surely he would have done the same? Ultimately all he has done is pointed out a bit of gamesmanship by a Chelsea player, hardly the sort of criticism that other players have attracted from plenty of other managers.

All I saw him say was that the ref bought Luiz clutching his ankle and faking it like a Swansea ball boy. That's pretty much standard manager talk in any similar situation - any manager would have said exactly the same if it was their player, and plenty have in the past. Personally I think it's a fair comment - if Luiz hadn't thrown himself down so theatrically then Rafael probably wouldn't have been sent off, but then, like SAF also admits, Rafael did lash out so Luiz was always likely to try and get himself sent off.

Really? So at no point does he clutch his ankle like he's been shot? Only to have a cheeky grin and hop back up to his feet seconds later? Maybe you should try and watch the game again <ok>

United cannot beat top sides without the help of the ref. That's why they are not so successful in Europe

Ferguson seemed very bitter and a sore loser but when he started complaining about Chelsea players surrounding the referee then surely he must have been doing some kind of ironic self-parody?

No he doesn't and the video to prove it can be found at the bottom of this page http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/210042-Man-Utd-Vs-Chelsea-May-13/page2 As can CLEARLY be seen he does not even touch his ankle and uses a single finger to touch his own leg. Unless you see something that no one else can.

What was that about watching it again? <doh>

My guess is he's bitter because Webb took the bung as usual, but but didn't manipulate a Utd. win !!!!

Theres one simple thing here. If a player kicks out and its seen, they get sent off. The reaction shouldn't make a difference. If Luiz was still standing up after the kick Rafael should have still seen red. Its not great to see play acting, but its something one has to live with. You can't ban or punish it.

Luiz was laughing because he knew he had drew a reaction out of Rafael, something that many players do, the worst thing about this is not the fact that Luiz was smiling after he had been kicked. (I've been hurt and I know the best way to react is to act as if you haven't been, it is a boxing thing). It is the the accusation that Bacon Face say's that. "Luiz elbowed him twice and provoked him." My god the man is a fool to suggest such a thing. If his player was on the end of violent conduct, or even kicking a ball into one of his players face, oh yeah that happened already.
