Why were our fans booing Fellaini? That is poor of us. Regardless of the troubles we are in right now, booing your own player in an home match is low. Football has become a shtshow.
Were they booing him? I thought they were booing the ref for not awarding a free kick against a West Ham player a few seconds before Fellaini was then penalised and booked for a similar foul.
We missed a big chance today, and now we've got a very tough task away from home against them. Atleast we are still in the cup though and there's still a slim chance of some silverware this season.
Yep. We'll be underdogs and that may suit LVG. DDG will need to be st his best. Very slim indeed but it is better odds than the one this week against the RS (although the chances of us or them making it to the semis or final are slim to non-existent)
The ref was incredibly poor, though why you are complaining Treble I don't know, Rojo should've been red carded and us given a penalty, and Schweinstieger made a beeline for the keeper and made no attempt to do anything other than jump on him.
If you watch the replay carefully you can see that Schweinsteiger was himself pushed into the keeper buy a WH player. Clue as always is the reaction of the WH players - not one of them made any complaint to the officials - including the keeper himself.
with contact you go down, it's sad, but that's the way it is, if you stay on your feet you won't get anything, but then we never get anything at OT anyway. I'm looking forward to video tech, you can't intimidate video. I think that's added a part to your current 'downfall', Fergie was never afraid to slander a ref to get future decisions.
He was going down before the contact IMO. He also did the old trick to trail the leg looking for contact.
You're the only one that seems to be complaining fella. I always find fans (regardless of the club they support) who moan about refereeing decisions, are just masking excuses for their own team's faults and deficiencies. Liverpool and Arsenal fans seem to be the most self-absorbed about these things, I'm surprised you're crying about it as well. There was nothing in that game for either set of fans to complain about. Neither were good enough to win, it's that simple.
Everton away is the massive prize that should drive our little club onwards. Sweep the mighty Hammers aside and we get to experience the wonders of Goodison Park - a massive incentive if ever there was one
You've just shattered my big dream - there, in that second you ruined it. Goodison Park is a temple of football, the great Moyes was born there.
You're still in it because somehow the ref missed their goalie being bulldozed into the net for the equaliser.
