Plucky disparate group from across Italian league and, bizarrely, Japan to face jaded set of usual suspects that cannot be dropped for reasons unknown.

Please add pictures and hurl abuse about my own jaded attitude (still bitter that Charlie didn't get a run out TBH).
 
Townsend, Delph and Gibbs come in, Lallana, Bertrand and Milner out. Sterling keeps his place, no start for Charlie

I think I most had Sterling in mind with my disparaging remarks. In fairness, Charlie wouldn't start if they wouldn't play him in the friendly - more chance of Vardy getting a late appearance.
 
Can't see the point of putting Charlie in the squad if he's not even getting a short run as sub against a shyte Ireland side. Little chance of seeing him today especially if we go ahead early, Woy will just play out a 1-0 if he can...
 
What we need is Austin to come on and pick up a knock thus scuppering his dream move the the Magpies, or any other club!
 
Roy needs to bring Charlie on to save the day - he would have likely buried that chance Sterling had earlier.
 
Glad they scored, we are looking average against an average team. Put us against anyone good and we're screwed. Just don't seem to have any real creativity, we're boring.
Austin would have scored that earlier one that Sterling put over.
 
Sterling- wouldn't drive out of my way to pick him up for my Sunday league team, gobby little twat
 
Apart from the finishing thought we played alright. Does Chris Smalling remind anyone else of a slightly better coordinated Carlton Palmer?
 
Before the match hoddle and co were saying to start with fringe players as this is an easy game to win..<laugh> HT 1-0 down and playing like ****e. If this is England finest then the rest of Europe have nothing to fear.....
