Oh come on, clubs in the champions league often rest players when they line-up again 3 days later. We're at the end of a long season and playing games in quick succession and in my view it's 100% right when we have 4 points on board to use the squad. That's what it's there for. Everyone would moan if we got 3 injuries caused by games in quick succession and we had players who didnt get any pitch time. I'd agree that changing half the team is too many but I'd certainly advocate 3 or 4.
I'd give the back-up full-backs a run out and stick Wilshere in for Alli and leave the rest, Vardy and Sturridge have barely played (though it looks like they're playing anyway).

I think if Hart hadnt ballsed up he might have rested him too. It's good for someone else to get a taste of tournament football rather than come in cold but he cant do that now cos it would appear that he dropped him.
Playing devil's advocate then, what if 3 or 4 players are knackered or carrying slight knocks that another game would exacerbate? If we then had 4 missing from the next round everyone would say he shouldve rested them and given pitch time to the back-ups.

Doesnt mean he's not thinking it. Of course he might not be thinking it and I might be giving him too much credit, but I think it's the right decision however he reached it.

I'm not a Hodgson badger but I don't see the need for so much change. It's a game we still need to win and at the very least our captain should be on the pitch, if only not to hve wasted my free bet I stuck on him to score first.
