Am I the only person that thinks Kyle Walker just isn't that good. A fine athlete for sure, but not much of a footballer. Right back is a real weakness.
Rosenior and Clyne should be considered as next in line for Right Back after Walker/Johnson, rather than playing Smalling or Jones out of position.
Jenkinson has played 3 games since September. I think he has a bright future but world cup players need to play more regularly this season. Rosenior has a similar problem if we play a back 3 but has much more pitch time as we've still used a back 4 quite a bit. Lowton maybe but I'd still prefer Clyne or Rosenior ahead of him at this point, particularly the way Villa are playing at the moment. I spent a good minute trying to think of a right back named Coat in your list of three names. I blame the lack of tea this evening. Walker Johnson Cole Rosenior Clyne Lowton
Ward is currently playing in central midfield isn't he, with Mariappa at Right Back? Good point though, I'd maybe have him ahead of Lowton. Unfortunately Hodgson's list is more... Johnson Walker Smalling Jones England have no other right backs.

I think he's been centre midfield and left back at some point since Pulis took over. Not sure if he's back at right back now.
