Easiest way to get to sleep is watching Jorghino trying to give an assist or score. Sleep like the dead after 4 months.

I've had insomnia my whole life. In my 20's I used to go through a three day cycle.

    Night 1, no sleep.
Night 2, a few hours sleep then I'd wake up and not be able to sleep again.
    Night 3, I sleep 8 hours straight.

It's almost like my body needed two crappy nights of no sleep before it was capable of sleeping. It didn't really impact me much though. I never felt overly sleepy.

Once I passed my twenties I started sleeping better. Now if I don't sleep, (and I still occasionally revert back to the three day cycle) I do feel awful when I don't sleep.

I took Ambien and several other sleep aids... None helped me sleep.

I've been taking muscle relaxants the last week for a thrown out back... And oh my goodness, I'm sleeping better than I ever have.

Sleeping medicine doesn't work on me, but muscle relaxants do.

Six hours enough for me, seven hours ideal. If i wake up early, like 5am, i just get up early and go for a run before kids/mrs get up!

No point in staying in bed and wasting the day.

Like many on here post kids, even if i have a late finish, such as 4am on Saturday i can't sleep in past 8
doesnt bother me, and Mrs is happy getting a lie in if we have a late night while i take the kids out

I went to bed at 3, and was awake by 7.

It has it's cycles, as someone said earlier, this will happen a lot, but then maybe once a week, it catches up, and i will sleep for maybe 8 or 9 hours....

That's usually the day i feel like ****.

I am an expert at sleeping. Will fall asleep within 10 mins of getting into bed without fail. Can sleep for ages as well, if I have a big weekend I will get home from work on a Monday go straight to bed at about 5 and sleep through til 8am the next day no problem. Usually try to get 10 hours a night, I'm always knackered though so probably need more. Or less, **** knows how it works.

There is such a phenomenon as too much sleep <ok> Naps aren't good for you either.

Nothing like a good afternoon nap sometimes when I'm off work. Not in the evening though, they suck!

I only ever slept that long when I smoked skunk all day.

I like a 20 min power nap in the afternoon when I've had a late night.Trick is not to fall into a deep sleep and get all groggy
